Ultra-thin porcelain.
Extraordinary results.
Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin shells of dental porcelain, individually crafted to fit precisely over the front surface of your teeth. Each veneer is designed and hand-finished in a specialist laboratory to your exact shape, length, and shade, before being permanently bonded in place. The result is a smile that looks completely natural, reflects light the way real enamel does, and is virtually indistinguishable from your own teeth.
Veneers can address a wide range of cosmetic concerns at once, including discolouration that whitening cannot resolve, misshapen or uneven teeth, chips, worn edges, and minor spacing issues. Because porcelain is highly resistant to staining and exceptionally durable, the results last significantly longer than composite bonding, making veneers one of the most rewarding investments in cosmetic dentistry.
Bespoke, hand-crafted, and designed entirely around you. No two smiles are the same.

Porcelain veneers represent the highest standard in cosmetic smile transformation. For patients who want a result that is truly exceptional and built to last, they remain unmatched.
The most natural appearance
Dental porcelain has a unique ability to mimic the translucency and light-reflecting properties of natural tooth enamel. Light passes through the surface in the same way it does through real teeth, giving porcelain veneers a depth and vitality that composite resin simply cannot replicate. When correctly designed and placed, they are entirely indistinguishable from your own teeth, even in close conversation or bright light.
Highly resistant to staining
Unlike composite resin, glazed dental porcelain is non-porous and highly resistant to staining from coffee, tea, red wine, and other common causes of discolouration. Your veneers will retain their shade for many years without the need for whitening or refinishing, making them a low-maintenance option for patients who want a consistently bright, even result over the long term.
Durable and long-lasting
Porcelain veneers are significantly more durable than composite bonding and, with proper care, typically last between ten and fifteen years or more. Porcelain is harder and more resistant to chipping than resin, and the bond between the veneer and tooth surface is exceptionally strong. For patients who want a result that stands the test of time without repeated repair or refinishing, veneers offer considerably better value over a ten-year horizon.
Bespoke to you
Every veneer is individually designed and hand-finished by a specialist ceramist in a dental laboratory. Shape, length, edge profile, surface texture, and shade are all customised to complement your facial proportions and personal aesthetic. Before any enamel is prepared, we work with you on the design to ensure the result is exactly what you envisioned. No two sets of veneers are the same, because no two smiles are.
Four concerns veneers
can correct.
Porcelain veneers address a wide range of cosmetic concerns in one bespoke treatment, with results that are exceptional in both appearance and longevity.
Uneven edges
Irregular biting edges and mismatched tooth lengths disrupt the balance of a smile. Veneers allow each tooth to be individually reshaped and lengthened, creating a perfectly even smile line with a natural, harmonious result that lasts for many years.
Uneven smile
When teeth vary in shape, size, or alignment, the smile can look asymmetric or unrefined even without any obvious individual flaw. Veneers allow the entire smile to be redesigned as a coherent whole, with each tooth proportioned and positioned to complement those around it.
Discoloured teeth
Some forms of discolouration, including deep internal staining, fluorosis, or darkening from old restorations, cannot be resolved with whitening alone. Porcelain veneers cover the entire front surface of the tooth, delivering a consistently bright and even shade that is also highly resistant to future staining.
Damaged teeth
Chips, cracks, and more extensive surface damage can be comprehensively restored with porcelain veneers. Unlike bonding, the porcelain is harder and more durable, making it a better long-term solution for teeth that have suffered significant wear or structural damage and require a lasting, high-quality restoration.

Veneers require a small amount of enamel to be removed from the front surface of the tooth, typically between 0.3 and 0.5 millimetres. This preparation is minimal but permanent, which is why the decision to have veneers should not be taken lightly. However, when carried out by an experienced clinician, the preparation is conservative and the tooth remains structurally sound. The veneer itself protects the prepared surface and, with proper care, the teeth underneath remain healthy for many years.
With proper care, porcelain veneers typically last between ten and fifteen years, and many last considerably longer. Longevity depends on oral hygiene, diet, and habits such as grinding or clenching. Porcelain is hard and stain-resistant, but it can chip or crack under excessive force. Wearing a night guard if you grind your teeth, maintaining excellent oral hygiene, and attending regular check-ups will significantly extend the lifespan of your veneers.
The preparation appointment is carried out under local anaesthetic, so you will not feel any discomfort during the procedure itself. Some sensitivity is common in the days following preparation, particularly to temperature, but this settles as the temporaries bed in. The fitting appointment, when the permanent veneers are bonded in place, is straightforward and comfortable. Most patients are pleasantly surprised by how manageable the process is.
Yes, if your veneers are only covering some of your teeth rather than your entire smile, whitening beforehand is advisable. The shade of your veneers will be matched to your teeth at the time of treatment, and porcelain cannot be whitened afterwards. Whitening first gives us a brighter baseline to match, ensuring a seamless result across your whole smile. We will advise on the best sequence and timing at your consultation.
This depends entirely on your goals and which teeth are visible when you smile. Some patients need just one or two to address a specific concern such as a chip or discolouration. Others choose six to ten veneers to transform the entire visible smile. We will advise on the number that will achieve a natural, balanced result for your particular case at your consultation, and your written quote will confirm the exact cost per veneer before anything proceeds.
