A practice they'll look forward to.
Little smiles,
carefully looked after.
We believe the most important thing we can do for a child's dental health is help them feel comfortable from the very first visit. The habits and feelings they form early stay with them for life, which is why we take particular care to make every appointment calm, gentle, and genuinely enjoyable for younger patients.
Our team is experienced in working with children of all ages, from toddlers having their first ever check-up to teenagers managing orthodontic concerns. We explain everything clearly, work at the child's pace, and never rush. We have a wonderful track record with even the most anxious young patients.
A child who looks forward to the dentist is a child who will care for their smile for life.
Book a children's appointment →Why starting
early makes all
the difference.
The relationship a child builds with dentistry in their early years shapes their oral health for life. Regular visits from a young age are one of the most valuable investments you can make in your child's wellbeing.
Problems caught early
Children's teeth can develop issues quickly, from decay in baby teeth to early signs of misalignment. Regular check-ups allow us to identify anything that needs attention while it is still minor, avoiding more complex or uncomfortable treatment further down the line.
Healthy habits formed
Children who visit the dentist regularly from a young age develop a natural, positive attitude towards oral health. We take time to explain brushing and flossing in a way that makes sense to them, building the routines that will protect their teeth well into adulthood.
Dental anxiety prevented
Most adult dental anxiety begins in childhood. By ensuring that early experiences are calm, gentle, and positive, we help children grow up without fear. Our team is patient, unhurried, and genuinely skilled at putting young patients at ease, even the most nervous ones.
Development monitored
As children grow, their teeth and jaws change rapidly. Regular check-ups allow us to monitor how their teeth are coming through, identify any early orthodontic concerns, and refer at the right time if specialist input is ever needed. It is preventative care in the truest sense.

We always take time to say hello properly before anything else. For young children, this might simply mean a friendly conversation, a look around the surgery, or a chance to hold some of the tools before we begin. There is no rush, and there is no pressure. Getting comfortable always comes first.
Free dental examination for children under 5 when a parent or guardian is a registered patient.
Full dental examination, oral health check, any necessary x-rays and lifestyle advice.
Plaque removal, scaling, polishing and personalised guidance on daily oral care.
Protective sealants applied to chewing surfaces of newly-erupted molars to prevent decay.
Protecting teeth
before problems
begin.
Fissure sealants are a thin protective coating applied to the chewing surfaces of newly-erupted adult back teeth. The deep grooves and pits in these teeth are the areas where decay most commonly begins, and they are also the hardest to clean thoroughly with a toothbrush, especially for children still developing their brushing technique.
The treatment is quick, completely painless, and requires no drilling or injections. We simply clean the tooth surface, apply the sealant, and set it in place. It typically takes just a few minutes per tooth and can provide years of protection. We recommend sealants as soon as adult molars come through, usually between the ages of six and twelve.
One of the most effective things we can do for a child's long-term dental health. Simple, quick, and entirely painless.
Things parents
often ask.
Everything you might want to know before bringing your child in for the first time. Still have a question? We are always happy to help.
We encourage parents to bring their children in as soon as their first teeth appear, or by their first birthday at the latest. Early visits help your child become familiar and comfortable with the dental environment, and allow us to monitor development from the very start. Under-5s are seen free of charge when a parent is a registered patient.
Absolutely. Dental anxiety in children is very common and something we handle with great care and patience. We take time to introduce everything slowly, explain what we are doing in a calm and friendly way, and never rush. Many of our most nervous young patients quickly become our most enthusiastic ones. We have a wonderful track record with anxious children and their parents always notice the difference.
Under-5s are seen free of charge when a parent is a registered patient. Under-16s receive a full dental examination for £28, and children's hygiene visits are £36. Composite fillings for primary teeth start from £31. All fees are agreed upfront and explained clearly before any treatment begins.
Yes. We offer orthodontic consultations for children and can advise on the best time to begin treatment depending on your child's development. In some cases, teeth may need to be removed as part of the correction process before orthodontic treatment begins. We will guide you through everything clearly at the consultation, which costs £50 and is redeemable against treatment.
We recommend every six months for most children, which keeps us closely involved in their dental development and gives us the opportunity to provide preventive care before problems arise. For children who are more prone to decay or who are undergoing orthodontic treatment, we may suggest more frequent visits. We will always advise you on what is right for your child specifically.
Little smiles, big care.
